Facing off against the Flyers Greats: Bernie Parent, Bob Clarke, Eric Lindros, Mark Howe…just to name a few.

As a hockey fan, it was the stuff that dreams are made of.

Generations of hockey legends all on the same ice…at the same time.

This was the scene at the Rangers-Flyers alumni game at the 2012 Winter Classic in Philly.

For some– for the first time in years, they slipped on the old jersey and took to the ice. As the puck dropped, the excitement was palpable. It was amazing. It was emotional. And most of all, it was a lot of fun to watch. Some great hockey moments — compliments of some of the greatest players of our generations.

As thrilling as it was to watch all that talent all on one ice…imagine meeting up with some of these legends in the locker room and getting to talk with them face to face.

Wow…

Yes, these guys still got it.

The Flyers won the game 3-1. But inside the Rangers locker room, it was a celebration– of some of the greatest players to grace the ice and the sport.

Yes, the uniforms may get a little tighter, but after spending some time talking with them after the game-

It’s evident that the greats…only get greater.
