VIDEO: NY Rangers Legends Come “Home”

The NY Ranger Greats came home to Long Beach, NY and their former practice facility for the re-opening of the Long Beach Ice Arena. The arena, which was badly damaged during Superstorm Sandy had been out of operation since the storm, nearly one year ago.

With the help of the NY Rangers Assist Program and the support of Chase, the rink is up and running!

To celebrate this victory for the city of Long Beach, the NY Ranger greats were out in force.

We caught up with Ron Duguay, Ron Greschner, Nick Fotiu, Steve Vickers, and Pete Stemkowski, and found out what it was like to be back in the arena they used to call home. In the 1970’s Long Beach Arena was the practice facility for the Blueshirts.

It was a great day with the NY Rangers.

These GREATS have a lot of heart!
