I can’t cook. And I never met a takeout place I didn’t like— make that, need. In fact, up until today, I truly believed that I was the “Takeout” Queen….that is, until I got a chance to chat with Daymon “Daym” Patterson.

What I like about the show— he eats what we eat—and where we eat. No foie gras, no fancy stuff– just America’s good and fast(er) food.

So what’s his secret to his outrageously entertaining video food reviews? The preparation. His pre-game (pre-shoot) warmup is a 3am trip to the gym. (He likes to work up an appetite), then shower and it’s off to the shoot. Let the eating and reviewing begin!
Daym is all about keeping it real, so will tv success change him? Will he demand a wardrobe stylist and makeup artist? Sparkling water chilled to perfection? Caviar in the passenger seat next to him?
Unlikely.
