Stacey Sweet is a nationally recognized, award-winning on air television host, correspondent and producer. She has worked on many high profile and big breaking stories across the globe including the Inaugurations of three presidents, the death of Princess Diana, and 9-11 and she has produced a number of popular daily segments for local Long Island newscasts. As such, Sweet is a very familiar face to both local and national television audiences with strong brand recognition.
Currently, Sweet is the Executive Producer and Host of Life is Sweet TV, a unique online news and entertainment content site that was recently honored for feature coverage with a FOLIO Award. Prior to launching Life is Sweet TV, Sweet brought her unique “Sweet” brand to AOL PATCH and introduced feature videos on many Patch sites (19 sites across Long Island). Her specials and series on the network were extraordinarily successful–putting video on the map for Patch sites across the Long Island region. Sweet’s work recently earned the distinction of being the “best videos of the year” and her videos were among the highest trafficked areas of the sites.
As a freelance correspondent for TV Guide Network, Sweet was a go-to reporter for the Network on breaking news, features, celebrity one-on-ones, red carpet and entertainment stories in New York
Prior to TV Guide Network, Sweet spent six years as a Senior Correspondent and Weekend Co-Anchor for the nationally syndicated newsmagazine program Inside Edition.
Sweet came to Inside Edition from News 12 Long Island, where she wore many hats during her multiple stints, including anchor, general assignment reporter, special projects correspondent, medical correspondent/producer, and fitness reporter. Sweet, a noted fitness expert, debuted on television as the host, producer and creator of the television health and fitness show, “Sweet on Fitness”.
