The Maccabeats HOT New Release, “Burn”

The holidays are almost here– and here’s the latest gift to fans of the Maccabeats all around the world– the release of a brand new video!

The Maccabeats are an internationally acclaimed a cappella signing group from Yeshiva University. Their songs and videos are filled with inspiration. And this latest release is no exception. Check out “Burn”. It will light up your world– and keep that fire burning for well beyond 8 nights.

The Maccabeats always have a positive message. And this year, they are once again partnering with the Gift of Life Bone Marrow Foundation with the hope of raising another $80,000 this Hanukkah season. You can count on the Maccabeats for all the things that make life and music “sweet“.

Here’s what the Maccabeats had to say about their latest video:

The main story line of the video spawned from the many stories we receive from fans around the world telling us how proud we make them feel of Judaism. We take a lot of pride in messages like that because ultimately it is exactly why we do what we do. This video is, in essence, a tribute to all those who have been affected in a positive way by our videos.

Of course, we all had our sights on the Thanksgiving-Chanukah theme of 2013, but we knew there would be plenty of those kinds of parodies flooding the internet. So we decided to tone down the Thanksgiving aspect and make it more about people coming together as a family.

This all ties into the song’s essence: Burn. Keeping the flame alive for the ideals we each stand for is so important. Burn bright, and don’t hide who you are!

Sweet fact: Before they became international superstars, The Maccabeats second performance ever took place in Cedarhurst Park in Cedarhurst. (Since then, they have performed all over the world — and also performed at the White House).  2 of the original Maccabeats are from Long Island.
